SDC presents a Scratch Night of Dance Works-in-Progress at the MAC, Belfast on 19th April 2024.
SDC is delighted to partner with the MAC to provide a brand new space for audiences to experience new dance.
Providing a new platform for choreographers and dance artists to share their live dance work with an audience, the evening brings together new works from dance makers at all stages of their careers.
Audiences can experience brand new dance works-in-progress from choreographers from Belfast and beyond, showcasing our local dance community in an intimate and supportive environment, with the opportunity to ask questions and hear from the creators in a post-performance Q&A.
The inaugural Dance in Motion is curated by Six Dance Collective Artistic Director Ruaidhrà Maguire and will feature dancers and choreographers born in or with connection to the island of Ireland.
