SDC choreographer Ruaidhrí Maguire returns to Irish Modern Dance Theatre's Dancer from the Dance Festival of Irish Choreography with guest dancer Milena Crameri to perform an extract from the upcoming production of White Doves.

Running from 24th - 28th June 2023 in central Dublin, Irish Modern Dance Theatre's Dancer from the Dance Festival of Irish Choreography celebrates evolving work in a gathering of Irish and Irish-identifying choreographers who cross national borders, practices, ethnicities and generations, curated by John Scott.
SDC choreographer Ruaidhrí Maguire will be returning to the festival to give a preview performance of an extract from SDC's upcoming ballet White Doves on Monday 26th June at Project Arts Centre.

Joined on stage by guest dancer Milena Crameri, they will perform the central White Doves pas de deux for the first time ahead of the production opening at the MAC, Belfast this August.
This performance follows Ruaidhrí's debut at the festival in 2022, presenting festival commission After/Before, which he performed with Danila Marzilli.
The White Doves pas de deux was created with the support of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

Alongside the week of performances, the festival is facilitating a series of workshops at Dance Ireland, DanceHouse. SDC's Ruaidhrí will be joining Gearóid Solan on Wednesday 28th June to lead a workshop on cross-genre partnering, exploring the art of collaboration through movement.
